Botswana: DCI +0.20%, USD 733k
Not a bad day in Gaborone (relatively speaking) as turnover amounted to $733k thanks to Turnstar (2.6m shares).
Kenya: NSE 20 -0.67%, USD 5.4m
Not much on the go in Nairobi today as turnover amounted to $5.4m with foreigners dominating proceedings. Safcom continued to come under pressure from foreign sellers as the telco fell -0.6% on 16.8m shares. EABL (-1.4%) also came under pressure from foreigners as 371k shares traded in the brewer. The two major banks were rather quiet as 427k shares traded in EQBNK while 306k shares traded in KNCB.
Mauritius: Semdex +0.14%, USD 1.3m
A better day in Port Louis but still nothing to write home about as turnover increased to $1.3m thanks to some action in NMH (750k shares) and MCBG (58k shares) while SBMH was rather quiet (8.9m shares).
Nigeria: ASI -0.81%, USD 22.2m
A rather average day from an activity point of view in Lagos as turnover amounted to $22.2m with some crosses in Zenith ($10.49m), NB ($4.55m) and DangCem ($2.26m). Banks closed the day lower with the sector falling -1.22% thanks to Access (-3.97%), GTB (-1.53%) and FBNH (-1.52%). Consumers (-0.82%) also closed the day lower with Dangote Flour (-5.00%), Dangote Sugar (-4.94%) and Flour Mills (-4.86%) dragging the sector lower.

Zimbabwe: Industrials -0.17%, USD 1.25m
Not a bad day in Harare as turnover amounted to $1.25m thanks to crosses in African Sun ($757k), Econet ($213k) and Delta ($196k) while the market continues to fall as the Industrial Index fell -0.17%.
