Nothing to report on from the DCI.
Another generally muted day in Nairobi. The only volumes were talking about went through in CFCI (unch, KES15.00) and Safcom (unch, KES20.00). The 2 major banks were both soft with KNCB slipping by 90bps to KES29.00 while EqBnk tumbled by 4.6% to KES31.00.
A rather dull day in Mauritius. The only action was in MCBG (+50bps, Rs222.00) as the name continues to grind higher.
An absolutely atrocious day in Lagos as both local and foreign market participants remain uninterested. The direction of the market also continues to lack any clear impetus with banks gaining slightly while consumers closed slightly in the red. There were no large crosses or trades to write home about.
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
A quiet day in Zimbabwe. The main action went through in Delta (60c) and Old Mutual (300c).
