Another decent day in Gaborone with today's action going through in Choppies (410t).

Kenya: NSE 20 +0.26%, USD 2.8m

A really dull end to what has been a very dull week. The only real action took place in Safcom (+30bps, KES17.35) and EqBnk (+60bps, KES40.50). The rest of the market was extremely quiet.

Mauritius: Semdex -0.43%, USD 490k

A quiet end to a quiet week in Mauritius. MCBG was again the most active stock and it softened by a further 50bps to Rs207.00.

Nigeria: ASI +0.37%, USD 17.9m

The ASI continued to grind higher although there was some slight profit taking in the banks (-33bps). The main action today was in Zenith (+1.79%, N15.95) with a number of chunky crosses going through. There was also good action in Access (unch, N5.35) and GTB (-3.67%, N20.20). Consumers ended the day slightly in the green with NB (+40bps, N126.00) driving activity.
