Nothing happened in Botswana yet again.
Back to the new normal in Nairobi after yesterday's excitement with Safcom (unch) once again the most active counter on the day, but with no decent crosses worth noting. Elsewhere, the rest of the heavyweights were dead quiet.
A very quiet day in Port Louis with some mild action in MCBG (unch, Rs222.00) about the only activity.
Much of the same in Lagos with not a single name breaking the $1m mark, while Zenith ($953k) was the most active counter on the day. Banking stocks managed to close the day +0.86% higher thanks to Zenith (+1.36%) and GTB (+0.64%). Consumers (+0.02%) closed slightly higher on small volume.
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
Nothing to report from Zimbabwe.
