Botswana: DCI -0.39%, USD 613k
Things slowed down in Gaborone today with some action in Letshego (1m shares) and FNBB (559k shares) driving proceedings.
Kenya: NSE 20 -2.18%, USD 3.1m
The negative sentiment was clearly evidenced in both the index sell off and the extremely low volumes. Outside of some mild activity in Safcom (-2.8%, KES13.95) and EABL (-3.1%, KES281) the market was extremely dead. KNCB (-1.6%) and Equity Bank (-1.9%) both fell on small volumes.
Mauritius: Semdex -0.69%, USD 2.78m
A much better day in Port Louis as total value traded amounted to $2.78m thanks to a few decent crosses in MCBG as 242k shares traded in the name. There was also some decent activity in NMH (729k shares) while SBMH (7.2m shares) was very quiet.
Nigeria: ASI -1.39%, USD 14.6m
The market remains extremely dull with the odd cross still about the only thing to note. The ASI also continues to just drip lower as we saw red across the board today. Banks fell by 2.26% on small volumes. The only decent activity took place in GTB (-3.94%, N20.70) and Zenith (-2.08%, N14.10). The consumers (-2.37%) were unbelievably quiet outside of NB (-4.98%, N112.12).

Zimbabwe: Industrials -0.08%, USD 479k
A better day in Harare but still nothing to write home about as turnover amounted to $479k with some action in Econet ($199k) and Delta ($119k) the only names worth mentioing.
