Some small activity in BTCL (1.1m shares) and Letshego (504k shares) the only names worthe mentioning.
A slower day in Nairobi with Safcom ($1.6m) yet again the only name worth mentioning from an activity point of view while the telco closed the day unchanged. Unfortunately there is just no other name worth reporting on.
A much more reserved day in Mauritius after the excitement of yesterday. The major action today was in SBMH which gained 30bps to Rs7.32. MCBG was much quieter but still gained 20bps to end the session at Rs224.00.
Another shockingly slow day in Lagos with Zenith ($1.1m) the only name with any form of activity while the rest of the market was dead quiet. Banking stocks closed the day +1.19% higher thanks to Zenith (+1.40%) and GTB (+1.37%) while consumers (+0.06%) closed slightly higher on tiny volume
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
Today was mostly about Delta with 1.3m shares trading at 86c. The rest of the market was largely uneventful.
