Nothing to report from Gaborone.
A much better day on the activity front in Nairobi thanks to a cross in KNCB ($4.2m) as the banking stock accounted for 58% of total turnover. Elsewhere, there was some small activity in Safcom ($955k) and EQBNK ($825k) while th rest of the market was rather quiet.
A quieter day than normal in Mauritius. In fact, the usual 2 suspects (i.e. the banks) were rather quiet. The main activity took place in IBL (+60bps, Rs40.75).
Another quiet day in Lagos with no names worth reporting on, as everyone seems to have already left for the Easter break. Both banking stocks and consumers closed the day higher with the sectors gaining +0.78% and +0.26% respectively.
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
Nothing especially exciting today in Harare except for some mild action in OKZ at 6.1c.
