Some small activity in FNBB and Turnstar the only names worth mentioning as 717k shares and 358k shares changed hands respectively.
A lively day in Kenya thanks to a couple of crosses in the large cap names. As usual, leading the volume charts was Safcom as the telco shed 80bps to KES18.95. Both banks also saw some nice action – KNCB took a massive hit though and fell by 8.8% to KES31.25. EqBnk had a bid and rose by 80bps to KES33.25. The rest of the market was rather muted.
A very slow day in Port Louis with nothing worth reporting on.
Yet another woeful day in Lagos. There is still no clear direction with both the banks (+32bps) and consumers (-15bps) hardly moving. There were also no significant trades or crosses to write home about.
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
A much better day in Harare, relatively speaking, thanks to some action in Old Mutual ($411k), Delta ($312k) and Ok Zim ($146k).
