Nothing to report from Gaborone.
A very dull start to the week in Nairobi as foreign activity reduced to 64% while they remained net sellers to the tune of $300k. EQBNK (-1.6%) dominated what little activity there was as 3.6m shares changed hands while there was a tiny bit of activity in Safcom (-0.5%). Unfortunately there is not much else to report with volumes being so low.
A solid start to the week from an activity point of view, but this should however be taken with a pinch of salt as activity was spurred by the introduction of the Omnicane Secured Notes to the debt board. The rest of the market was extremely dull.
An absolutely disastrous start to the week from an activity point of view in Lagos with turnover amounting to a dire $2.4m and not a single name breaking the $1m mark. Both major sectors closed lower with Consumers falling -1.55% while Banks fell -0.94%. One can unfortunately not read anything into this with such low volumes.
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
A rather dull start to the week in Harare with some small activity in Getbucks Financial ($245k) the only name worth mentioning.
