Botswana: DCI -0.01%, USD 591k

A better day in Gaborone with some activity in Letshego and Cresta as 1.5m shares and 2.3m shares changed hands in the names respectively.

Kenya: NSE 20 +0.36%, USD 2.9m

Not much to report from Nairobi as turnover amounted to a dismal $2.9m. Safcom was the most active counter on the day as 6m shares traded in the telco. The two major banking stocks ended the day mixed with EQBNK falling -0.6% while KNCB gained +0.6%.

Mauritius: Semdex -0.07%, USD 1.3m

A decent day to end the week in Port Louis thanks mostly to some action in MCBG as 121k shares traded in the name while there was also a small bit of activity in Alteo (225k shares) and SBMH (8m shares).

Nigeria: ASI +0.79%, USD 5m

From bad to worse in Lagos from an activity point of view with turnover amounting to $5m, capping off what was a very uneventful week with GTB ($1m) the only name with any form of activity. Banks finally managed to close in positive territory with the sector gaining +1.84% thanks to Zenith (+2.14%) and Access (+5.01%). Consumers (-0.46%) closed the day lower with some pressure on NB (-0.57%).

Zimbabwe: Industrials +0.19%, USD 517k

Nothing much to report from Harare with some small activity in FBC Holdings ($181k) and Delta ($153k).
