Another quiet day to end the week in Gaborone today
Turnover increased by 581%, closing on a positive note, with KNCB ($4.8m), SAFCOM ($4.5m) and EQBNK ($1.1m) the most active names on the day. Foreign participation was up to 86% from 55%.
A very impressive day in Port Louis today as market turnover amounted to Rs215m. Winhold limited acquired CMPL (unch, Rs9.52), 14m shares changing hands. MCBG (-0.04%, Rs270.00) and SBMH (unch, Rs7.80) the only other names worth mentioning and the later being dominated by foreign cross.
The market had a positive end to the week, with all indices closing positive bar the insurance sector. Foreign block trades in Guaranty ($6.7m, -1.15%) and Zenith ($3.2m, -1.04%) dominated the action on the day.

The week closed on a lower note with the lion’s share of the trading going though in Seedco ($364k). The industrial index continues to grind higher.
