A large cross in BIHL (5.39m shares) was the highlight of the day as the name accounted for 99% of turnover with total value traded amounting to USD 6.64m.
A relatively slow start to the wweek in Nairobi as locals dominated proceedings ever so slightly and accounted for 51.8% of turnover with value traded amounting to $5.1m. Foreign selling pressure (97.1%) drove EQBNK -0.2% lower as 1.69m shares traded while foreign demand (98.1%) helped KNCB close +0.7% higher. There was also some foreign selling pressre in Diamond Trust Bank while locals were the buyers.
A massive cross in CFS (10m shares) and Rogers (112k shares) were the highlights of the day as turnover amounted to USD 4.67m. There was some activity in MCBG as 69k shares changed hands.
