Nothing very exciting to report from Gaborone, small action in Letshego (267t) and FNBB (360t) about the only activity.
A very solid day from an activity point of view as turnover amounted to $12.2m with foreigners (57%) dominating proceedings. Foreign demand continues to drive Safcom as the telco gained +1.8% on 20.75m. Foreigners also dominated purchases in KNCB and EQBNK as the former gained +0.9% while the latter closed unchanged. There was a local cross in BATK as 92k shares changed hands.
A relatively dull day in Port Louis. As usual, MCBG was the most active stock (unch, Rs203.00). There was also some muted activity in NMH (+29bps, Rs87.00) while SBMH closed unchanged at Rs1.03.
Activity continues to underwhelm this week with turnover amounting to $26.6m with some action in DangCem ($5.49m), GTB ($3.79m), Stanbic ($3.57m) and WAPCO ($2.6m). Banks closed lower again with the Index falling -0.35% thanks to Zenith (-1.85%) and GTB (-0.33%). Consumers closed slightly higher with the sector gaining +0.27% thanks to PZ Cussons (+10.24%) and Flour Mills (+2.00%). Market heavyweight DangCem came under pressure and closed the day -2.86% lower.

An extremely quiet day in Zimbabwe with only mild activity in Seedco (95.50c) and Delta (113c). Not a single share of Econet changed hands today.
