Absolutely dead in Gaborone today as turnover amounted to a paltry 15k.
A solid start to the week from an activity point of view as turnover amounted to $11.2m with foreigners (69.8%) dominating proceedings. A few large foreign crosses in EABL were the highlight of the session as 818k shares changed hands in the brewer. Foreigners also dominated activity in Safcom as 13.56m shares traded in the telco with the name closing -0.7% lower. There was some activity in the EQBNK and KNCB as 3.57m shares and 3.06m shares changed hands in the names respectively.
Not a bad start to the week in Port Louis as turnover amounted to $1.45m thanks mostly to some action in MCBG (135k shares) and SBMH (13.58m shares) while NMH was very quiet.
A very slow start to the week as turnover amounted to $16.8m with some activity in the likes of FBNH ($2.82m), Zenith ($2.59m) and GTB ($2.05m) the only names worth mentioning. The selling continued in banking stocks as the Index fell -1.45% with some weakness in UBA (-6.86%), GTB (-1.96%) and Zenith (-1.33%). Consumers (-1.58%) were also under pressure thanks to Flour Mills (-9.70%), UACN (-5.00%) and Guinness (-4.58%).

A solid enough day from an activity point of view as turnover amounted to $1.88m thanks to crosses in MASH ($727k), Econet ($434k) and Seedco ($255k) while the market closed the day lower with the Industrial Index falling -0.05%.
