Botswana: DCI +0.09%, USD 889k
Not a bad day to end the week in Gaborone as turnover amounted to $889k thanks to a cross in Letshego (2.02m shares) while the rest of the market was rather quiet.
Kenya: NSE 20 +0.02%, USD 19.8m
An extremely active day in Nairobi to end the week as turnover amounted to a very impressive $19.8m as foreigners dominated proceedings. Large foreign crosses in EABL were the highlight of the day as a total of 2.43m shares changed hands with the brewer falling -0.3% to close at KES 302. The two major banking stocks EQBNK and KNCB were also very active as 9.91m shares and 4.62m shares traded respectively. Some average activty in Safcom as 9.93m shares changed hands in the telco.
Mauritius: Semdex +0.56%, USD 5.11m
A very solid day to end the week from an activity point of view in Port Louis as turnover amounted to $5.11m thanks to some serious action in MCBG as 498k shares changed hands after the bank reported Q3 2015 results. There was also some decent activity in Ciel (5m shares) and SBMH (11.32m shares).
Nigeria: ASI +0.07%, USD 7m
A dire day to end the week in Lagos as turnover amounted to a paltry $7m with a small bit of action in GTB ($1.13m) and Access ($1.02m) the only names worth mentioning. Banks closed lower with the sector falling -0.55% thanks to GTB (-1.67%). Consumers (+0.15%) closed higher with Dangote Sugar (+3.13%) putting in a good performance.

Zimbabwe: Industrials -0.10%, USD 1.12m
Some activity in Delta ($577k), MASH ($240k) and ZPI ($228k) were the only names worth mentioning as turnover amounted to $1.12m while the market closed the day lower with the Industrial Index falling -0.10%.
