Some decent activity in BIHL and Letshego today as 177k shares and 1m shares changed hands in the names respectively.
Another quiet day in Nairobi with foreign participation still rather dismal. There were 2 decent crosses today in 2 normally illiquid names - CFCI (+3.9%, KES14.50) and Centum (+2.5%, KES40.50). Normal market activity was extremely subdued ahead of Safcom (1H17) and Equity Bank (3Q16) results which are both due out later in the week.
Not much on the go in Port Louis, apart from a few small trades in MCBG as 33k shares changed hands in the name.
Another embarrassingly dull day in Lagos as absolutely nothing happened for the umpteenth time. There is zero direction and zero catalyst. The only stock to break through the $1m barrier was NB which closed down 8bps at N146.01. The rest of the market was dead.
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
Some small activity in Innscor ($442k) and Delta ($132k) tried to get things going on a relatively quiet day in Harare.
