Nothing to report from Botswana.
A very quiet end to the week in Kenya. The only action took place in Equity Bank (unch, KES26.25) and Safcom (unch, KES19.00). The rest of the market was dead. Please note that the market will be closed on Monday.
A rather dull end to the week in Port Louis. Once again it was MCBG (unch, Rs207.75) which was the lion’s share of today’s trading.
Yet another shockingly quiet day in Nigeria. There is just no direction and interest from both local and foreign participants. Banks closed marginally higher while consumers closed slightly in the red. Nothing exciting to report in terms of crosses. Please note that the market will be closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
A better day to end the week in Harare, but this was solely thanks to a cross in Delta ($1.2m) while activity across the rest of the market remains dire.
