There was not a single trade registered on the bourse today ahead of the long weekend.
It was pretty uneventful for most of the day in Nairobi until some late activity in the large caps. Most of the action went through in EqBnk (+3.6%, KES28.50), Safcom (+1.3%, KES19.95) and EABL (-3.6%, KES271.00). KNCB also tried to join in on the fun (+1.0%, KES25.50) while the rest of the market was extremely quiet.
Another underwhelming day in Port Louis with MCBG the only counter with any form of activity as 49k shares changed hands in the name.
Another pathetic day as the Nigerian bourse ambles along with no idea whether to go up or down. The only real activity was seen in a couple of crosses in NB (+1.36%, N147.00).
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
Back to normal in Harare with some small activity in Delta ($197k) the only name worth mentioning.
