Letshego (unch, $790k) trading 99% of the market turnover today the only name worth noting.
Safcom unchanged on high volumes to close the day with 43% of total market turnover showing some weakness towards the end of the session. Other counters to mention are KCB (unch, KES42.00) and NIC (+0.63%, KES40.00). Once again foreigners leading the way with 62% of the market sales and 24% on the buy side.
MCBG (+0.5%, Rs275.00) once again leading the way on the Mauritius stock exchange contributing to more than 70% of total market volume. SBMH (unch, Rs7.76), NMH (+0.4%, Rs22.75), Mauritius Oil Refinery (+0.5%, Rs29.15) and Alteo (-0.5%, Rs32.55) accounted for stocks that had some decent activity that was well spread across the bourse.
Things slowed down a little bit on the Nigeria bourse today with financials (-0.63%) closing in the negative and consumers (+0.18%) closing on the up. Guaranty (-0.16, N37.82) accounting for more than a quarter of today’s market turnover, while there was some descent activity in Nestle (+1.26%, N1,205.00) and Zenith (-2.42%, N22.20).

Another massive day in Harare as the industrial index continues to rally. There was activity across the board as volumes were dominated by Delta ($2m) and Barclays ($1m). Whilst Simbisa ($536), Meikles ($329), Padenga ($295), Axia ($243), First Mutual ($216) weighed in with decent trade values.
