The market fell today mostly on the back of weakness in Letshego (200t).
A quiet end to a quiet week in Kenya. Today the bulk of the action went through in EABL (-40bps, KES272) while there was 1 cross in CFCB (unch, KES80.00). The rest of the market was quiet.
MCBG (-20bps, Rs208.50) was once again heavily dominant on the market today. SBMH rose by 2.9% to Rs0.71.
Another exceptionally dull day in Nigeria. The only action was some crossing in GTB (+1.04%, N24.25). GTB was the only bank to close in the green as the sector slipped by 30bps. Consumers dropped by 55bps on thin volumes.
