Another dull day in Gaborone with nothing to report as turnover amounted to $44k.
Another quiet day in Nairobi as foreign investors remain largely absent. The top traded stock was the little known I&M Bank after a chunky local cross in the name. Second most active stock was Bamburi. The large cap names were very dull, Safcom closing marginally higher at KES13.00 while Equity bank gained 50bps to KES49.50. KNCB was extremely quiet after released Q3 results earlier in the day.
An extremely active day in Port Louis as turnover amounted to a very impressive $3.21m thanks to large crosses in MCBG (263k shares) and SBMH (19.46m shares) while there was also some activity in the likes of Terra (101k shares) and NMH (25k shares).
The Lagos bourse extended its bull run for the second consecutive day. Banks were incredibly strong (+2.88%) with all banking names closing in the green. As usual Tier 1 names led the way with some chunky volumes changing hands in GTB (+1.44%, N24.60), FBNH (+10.14%, N10.54) and Zenith (+33bps, N21.07). Consumers were also very strong (+4.86%) with some decent activity in NB (+5%, N156.89) and Nestle (+7.56%, N925.00). Cements finally showed some signs of resilience as Wapco closed 1.97% higher at N78.10.

A better day in Harare thanks to a cross in OK Zim ($1.17m) as total value traded amounted to $1.34m while the market closed the day lower with the Industrial Index falling -0.24%.
