Nothing on the go in Gaborone today as turnover amounted to a very dull $78k.
A much better day in Nairobi with foreigners returning to the market as tunover amounted to $8.3m. Foreign participation in Safcom on both sides of the telco drove activity as a total of 14.85m shares traded with the name falling -0.40%. There was some decent activity in KNCB as a total of 1.6m shares traded thanks to foreign demand. A few decent foreign crosses drove ativity in EABL as 298k shares traded in the brewer. EQBNK (-1.0%) closed the day lower on the back of local selling pressure as 1.31m shares traded.
A very active day in Port Louis thanks to some action in NMH (1.01m shares) as total value traded increased to $3.66m while the rest of the market was very quiet with not much going on in market heavyweights MCBG and SBMH.
A better day in Lagos but still below par as turnover amounted to $19.4m. There was some activity in the likes of Oando ($3.95m), GTB ($2.42m), FBNH ($2.33m), Zenith ($1.96m) and NB ($1.89m). Banks closed the day in negative territory with FBNH (-4.84%), Access (-3.33%), UBA (-2.64%) and GTB (-1.16%) coming under pressure. Consumers (-0.80%) continue to fall thanks to Unilever (-4.99%) and NB (-1.10%). DangCem also continued to slide with the market heavyweight falling -5.00% to close at N185.20.

Activity slowed down drastically in Harare today as turnover amounted to $706k with some activity in the likes of Seedco ($175k), Barclays ($164k) and NatFoods ($150k) while the market closed lower with the Index falling -0.03%.
