A massive day in Gaborone as turnover was mainly geared towards FNBB ($3.8m), Letshego ($97k) and Sechaba ($19k).
Activity remained subdued with turnover amounting to $8.4m as foreigners dominated proceedings (55.5%). Safcom (-4.2%, KES15.90) came under pressure on the back of foreign selling leaving the telco amongst the top decliners of the day. Foreign investors drew a keen interest in KCB accounting for 98.8% of the counter's total purchases. The counter contributed $2.1m towards total turnover to close up +0.8% at KES61.00. Equity bank fell by 2.9% to KES49.50.
Total tournover was mainly buoyed towards SBM (-5.0%,Rs0.95),NMH (unch,Rs64) and MCBG (unch,Rs198.00). SBM traded a total of 122m shares out of which notable crosses of 30m and 86.3m shares were seen at Rs0.94 and Rs0.91 respectively. The rest of the movers traded a total of 1.6m and 478k shares respectively.
A dull start to the week in Lagos despite turnover amounting to $41.8m. Banks came under pressure with the sector falling -4.90% after losses were seen in the likes of GTB (-9.69%, N28.79), Zenith (-4.99%,N23.80) and FBNH (-3.46%, N9.21). Consumers also closed the day soft -1.14% thanks to NB (-3.76%,N160) and Guinness (-4.05%,N133.37). There was also some decent action in Dangcem (-1.1%, N180.00) while Oando saw some chunky crossing (-68bps, N17.48).

Total turnover was mainly buoyed towards Delta (-0.97%, 103.5c), Econet (unch, 50c), Innscor(+1.09%, 55.6c) and Seedco (-0.97%, 103c). Each trading a total of 1m, 571k, 567k and 424k shares respectively.
