Kenya: NSE 20 -0.72%, USD 9.8m
Once again the index closed the session in the red as foreigners dominated proceedings. Safcom closed the day up by 1.57% as foreigners dominated both sides of the name, trading a total of 20.2m shares. KNCB managed to gain 0.82% as 2.7m shares exchanged hands. Also amongst the movers was EQBNK, closing the day lower by 1.01% on the back of foreign selling.
Mauritius: Semdex -0.09%, USD 5.5m
Another big day for SBM as the counter traded 54.9m shares, closing unchanged at Rs0.95. During the session SBM registered significant crosses of 25.9m, 5m and 4.8m shares at its closing price. MCBG accounted 84.2% of total market turnover alongside SBM after 587k shares were exchanged in the name.
Nigeria: ASI -2.19%, USD 23.4m
As expected profit taking continued in todays session especially in the banking sector which closed down by 3.60%. After releasing positive FY 2014 results yesterday which saw PBT and PAT increase +5.97% and +1.69% respectively, FBNH closed down by 0.33% on 65.6m shares. There was some action in the likes of Transcorp (after releasing poor results), GTB ($4.4m) and Zenith Bank ($2.6m). Consumers closed the session down by 1.90% after losses were realized in Intbrew (-5%, N21.66) and NB (-5%, N152).

Zimbabwe: Industrials -0.66%, USD 1.6m
The index shed 0.66% due to price losses in blue chip counters. The most active names were Afdis (+6.38%, 50c), Delta (-0.49%, 102c) and Econet (unch, 50c), contributing $177k, $927k and $262k respectively.
