Nothing special to note from the Botswana bourse.
Nothing exceptional to note except that foreign activity was heavily skewed to the buy side. As has been the case recently, turnover was heavily dependent on EABL (-50bps, KES219.00) and Safcom (+80bps, KES18.40). There was some mild trading in KNCB (-4.0%, KES 24.00) while the rest of the market was dead.
Yet another uninspiring day in Port Louis. And strangely, today’s turnover was driven by 2 normally illiquid stocks – Lux Island Resorts (+40bps, Rs59.25) and Ciel Ltd (unch, Rs6.30).
The Lagos bourse remains pitiful, absolutely pitiful. Besides 1 cross in GTB (-61bps, N24.35) and NB (-33bps, N142.03) there was nothing going on while the market itself remains rudderless.
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
A better day in Harare, but still nothing to write home about, with some activity in Old Mutual ($479k) the only name worth mentioning.
