Not a bad start to the week (relatively speaking) as turnover amounted to $725k thanks to some action in Choppies (1.21m shares).
A slow start to the week as foreigners (64%) continue to dominate proceedings and remain net buyers with total turnover amounting to $4.6m. EQBNK (-1.2%) continued to come under pressure as 2.75m shares traded in the counter while KNCB (-0.9%) also ended lower ahead of H1 2015 results due out this Thursday. Safcom managed to close +0.1% higher on foreign demand as 6.62m shares traded in the telco while EABL (+2.4%) was very quiet as only 31k shares traded as the brewer is set to release FY 2015 results this Friday.
A dull start to the week in Africa with many foreign participants on the Northern hemisphere summer holidays. The only real activity took place in MCBG (+50bps, Rs219.00).
An extremely quiet day to start the week with no big crosses on the day as turnover amounted to $11.4m with GTB ($2.86m) and Zenith ($2.30m) the only names worth mentioning. Banks came under pressure with the sector falling -1.70% with weakness in Zenith (-2.97%), Access (-2.70%) and GTB (-1.65%). Consumers (-1.53%) were also weak as 7UP (-4.59%), NB (-3.30%) and IntBrew (-1.99%) dragged the sector lower.

The Harare bourse remains subdued. Today the only real action took place in Delta (100c).
