A dull start to Q4 in Nairobi. For most of the day there was nothing happening although some late action in Equity Bank and Safcom lit up proceedings while some earlier crossing in EABL (both sides foreign) also added to the volumes. Equity Bank and Safcom both closed marginally softer at KES44.75 and KES 14.95 respectively. EABL closed at KES277 although most of the action went through at KES278.
Activity was dominated yet again by MCBG (+40bps, Rs209.00) while there was also some mild action in Lux Island Resorts (unch, Rs62.50).
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
Some action in CBZ at 9c was about the only excitement on another quiet day in Zimbabwe.
