Some local action in Turnstar (297t) was about the only thing worth noting today.
Another quiet day as the index just ticked lower. Besides some mild action in KNCB (-1.7%, KES44.00), Scan (-6.9%, KES27.00) and Safcom (+70bps, KES14.80) there was nothing exciting to report on.
A really active end to the week in Port Louis thanks to some large crosses in MCBG (+20bps, Rs209.00). Outside of this the market was quiet.
An absolutely atrocious day for Nigeria with the market barely registering a pulse. The lack of activity must be an all-time low as outside of Access Bank (+1.17%, N5.20) and 7UP (+15bps, N196.00) nothing was going on.
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
Things slowed down on the last trading day of the week in Harare as turnover amounted to $921k thanks mostly to Econet ($675k) and Delta ($137k) while the rest of the market was dead.
