Nothing much to report from Gaborone.

Kenya: NSE 20 +0.23%, USD 5.67m

Another very quiet day in Kenya with the most active stock in the market being KNCB which closed at KES39.75 (+.50%) with $2.6m trading in the name. The rest of the counters were very quiet.

Mauritius: Semdex -0.05%, USD 1.24m

A bit of a mixed reaction with the Mauritius indices today seeing the Semdex declining slightly. MCBG (-0.4%, Rs279.00) taking up almost half the market and SBM (+0.3%, Rs7.60) not doing too badly. Air Mauritius (+6%, 40k) continued to rally to Rs15.90 and once again was the top performer on the market.

Nigeria: ASI +0.54%, USD 6.3m

A dull day in Nigeria today. Banks (+0.52%) were slightly up, consumers following suit. GTB (+0.40%, N37.30) was the stand out bank today. There were also a few other crosses in Guinness (+4.92%, N66.10) and NB (+0.89%, N160.00) but nothing more to write home about.

Zimbabwe: Industrials +0.40%, USD 2.2m

Another active day in Harare with aggressive locals pushing the index higher yet again. SEEDCO (135c) was very active while Delta is now trading at 1.27c. The main trader was CFI which closed at 31c on big volumes.
