Nothing to report.
Another very quiet day in Kenya with the most active stock in the market being KNCB which closed at KES39.75 (unch) with $1.9m trading in the name. The rest of the counters were extremely quiet.
A bit of a mixed reaction with the Mauritius indices today seeing the Semdex declining slightly. MCBG (-1.10%, Rs275.00) declined slightly while SBM (+0.8%, Rs7.68) didn't do too badly continuing its climb this week.
An impressive day in Lagos all thanks to large crosses in the banking sector, which rose +1.56% with the help of Guaranty ($3.2m), Access ($3.2m) and Zenith ($2.7m). There was also some action in NB ($1m) and Dangcem ($1.1m). Consumers (-0.24%) closed slightly lower.
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
Not the best end to the week on the ZSE. Some small activity in Delta ($76k) and OKZ ($100k) the only names worth mentioning on a slow day in Harare.
