Absolutely nothing on the go in Gaborone today.
Another slow day in Nairobi with foreigners dominating proceedings. Some small action in EABL (361k shares) and Safcom (5.1m shares) the only names worth mentioning as the rest of the heavyweights were very quiet.
Another lethargic day in Port Louis as the index fell on thin volumes.
Another extremely quiet day with turnover amounting to $7.4m with some small activity in Zenith ($1.3m), GTB ($1.3m) and NB ($1m) the only names to break the $1m mark while the rest of the market was dead quiet. Both major sectors closed the day in negative territory with Banks falling -0.88% while Consumers fell -2.09%. DangCem came under some sersious pressure and closed the day -9.75% lower.
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
Some action returned to the Harare bourse mostly thanks to some much needed trading in Econet (21.01c).
