A large cross in Sechaba helped boost activity on an otherwise dull day as 815k shares traded in the name.
Another solid day in Nairobi from an activity point of view as turnover amounted to $8.2m while the market came under some pressure with foreigners being net sellers. KNCB (-2.6%) was the day's most active stock as 6.9m shares traded in the name with foreigners dominating both sides. EQBNK (-2.5%) also closed lower on foreign selling as 3.6m shares traded. Safcom (-2.2%) was relatively quiet as 7.6m shares traded in the telco.
A much better day in Port Louis thanks to a cross of 3.5m United Investment on the DEM board. The rest of the market was unfortunately very quiet with some small activity in MCBG (58k shares).
Another dull day in Lagos from an activity point of view with some activity in GTB ($1.7m) and NB ($1m) the only names to break the $1m mark. Banking stocks were on the charge today (albeit on small volume) with the sector gaining +8.07% with the likes of FBNH (+10.19%), GTB (+10.18%) and Zenith (+10.16%) all closing limit up. Consumers (+2.86%) were also stronger with good performances in Nestle (+5.00%), Guinness (+3.26%) and NB (+3.12%).

Some small activity in Delta ($196k) and Simbisa ($127k) the only names worth mentioning on yet another slow day.
