Dead quiet in Gaborone today with absolutely nothing to report.
A large local cross in KNCB helped boost activity on an otherwise dull day as 26.5m shares traded in the name. There was also a bit of action in EQBNK with 5.3m shares traded over the day. Foreigners dominated both sides of Safcom as 6.2m shares traded in the telco while EABL was once again very quiet.
Another quiet day in Port Louis with the general lack of interest pushing the market slightly lower. The bulk of the action went through in MCBG which closed unchanged at Rs207.00.
Another rather dull day in Lagos to end a quiet week with a few crosses in the likes of NB ($2m), GTB ($2m), Access ($1.6m) and Zenith ($1.3m). Banking stocks closed the day lower with the sector falling -2.47% with some pressure on ETI (-4.88%) and UBA (-4.46%). Consumers (-1.28%) were alse weaker thanks to Flour Mills (-5.00%) and NB (-3.10%).
