The little volume the stock exchange experience was divided mostly across 2 names, BIHL ($32k) and BTCL ($12k) accounting for 98% of the market.
The market saw foreign participation increase from 57% the previous day to 67% with Safaricom (-1.01%, KES24.50) accounting for about 50% of turnover. KNCB (unch, 37.00) and EQBNK (unch, 36.00) were the other names that dominated the action.
The Semdex weakened with a minor Rs33m changing hands on the bourse. SBM (-0.5%, Rs7.74) once again fighting a valiant fight being 32% of total market turnover. The little movement that took place on the stock exchange was stretched between ENL (-0.8%, Rs43.50), IBL (unch, Rs45.60), and Phoenix Beverages (+1.2%, 506.00).
The market saw a bit of profit taking as all sectors ended the day in the red. Crosses in Guaranty (-0.95%, N41.70), Dangcem (-1.78, N220), Zenith (+0.57%, N26.45) and Nestle (-3.26%, N1,200) dominated the turnover on the day.

The upward momentum continues in Harare as industrial index closed +0.85% higher sustained by gains in Hippo (5%), Natfoods (8%), Nampak (20%) and ZBFH (14%). Econet ($1.28m) and Delta ($1.32m) continued to dominate the market accounting for 64% of turnover. There was also some decent action Padenga, OML and PPC.
